Third week of radiation done.

I have completed my third week of radiation. I see the doctor every Thursday, and he asked me if I was having any problems or pain. I told him no and was he sure that the machine was even turned on. He just laughed and said he would see me next week. Six more treatments and I am through, yeah.

  1. I have to go for a CT scan in March, to check and see if I am still free of lung cancer. I had the surgery on Jan. 20, 2015 — 3 years ago. I am supposed to go back every 6 months, and get another CAT scan but I always dread going in to check. I really don’t want to hear anything negative…..

    • Mary, I know what you mean. Every time I have to do a cat scan or a pet scan it makes me a little anxious. But I have also found that if I pray about it and turn it over to God it makes me feel better no matter what the scans show. I love the saying on the card that has been taped inside the machine that does my radiation. It says Good morning this is God, I am here to take care of your problems. I do not need your help so go and have a great day. I will keep you in my prayers. Have a blessed week. πŸ™‚ Jim

    • Thank you Christy. I told my self from the beginning of this journey that I was not going to let it get me down. With the Lords help I have been able to not only beat this but to show others that no matter what we can.
