Praiseing the Lord its Raining

We are in a drought which now is as bad as it was in the 1930’s thus the post blog where I talked about the dirt in the Texas Panhandle. We praiseRain the Lord it has been raining off and on the last couple of days and the forecast says it should last for at least a week. We have received a little over an inch here at my house which looks and smells great. The weatherman said last night that we would need at least 16 to 18 inches to be able to even start breaking the drought. All I can say is thank you Lord we will take all we can get.

  1. Maybe it’s coming my way. I hope. They are calling for .5-1″. Like you it will take 12-13″ to just get even with this years lack, not to mention the previous 3 years. But please Lord, not all at once. Thanks and I’m glad you are being blessed. I may get to make a little hay after all???

  2. Wasn’t aware you were still in a drought up there. It looks like we are finally out ours, as our lake is full for the first time in four years. Pray rain comes in abundance to you frequently and soon!

    • We can take all the prayer you can muster. Our closest lake is 50 miles NE of us and it was 99 feet at the dam and now it stands at 33 feet. We have had a nice rain off and on for the past 5 days and that has been nice, so now if we can just keep it coming for awhile. Have a Blessed day. Jim
