A note to Mother

This is a mother’s day card from when Ce was six and in kindergarten. The teacher typed up the poem and helped the kids glue it on the card.

To Mother
Sometimes you get so discouragedCard Ce. Card CeAnne
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and wall

But every day I’m growing up
And soon I’ll be tall
That all those little handprints
Will be hard to recall

So here’s a special handprint
Just so you can remember
Exactly how my fingers looked
On Mothers’ Day this year!
